We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. When registering on the Site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your or other details to help you with your experience.

While using the Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Cocoon & Bloom is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations. The principles adhered to state that:

  • There is a lawful reason for collecting data – data is collected to enable communication between the Service and the client and for health, safety and the wellbeing of clients.

  • Data is used only for what it was collected for- we process your data to facilitate the booking of classes/courses and allows us to contact you about the class you are attending, information about the class you have participated in and information on future classes you have registered your interest in. 

  • The collection of necessary data only - information collected includes email, address, and phone contact details, health and medical history information, expected date of delivery (EDD) if pregnant, or baby(ie)s date of birth (DOB). Cultural details may be recorded. Mailing list records your first and last name and email address only. We will not collect data relating to children without the express permission of a parent or legal guardian. In order to process class bookings, we do request the baby's name, DOB and medical history.

  • Data kept is accurate and up to date - please inform Cocoon & Bloom if you do not wish to be contacted by the Service after your course has finished. It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us. Some of your details may remain in the system, but only for the use of Tax records (7 years).

  • Data Retention - your data is only kept for the necessary period of time. Information will only be kept until it is legally no longer required for tax reasons.

  • Data Protection - all information kept is password protected and user access restricted. All data is safely stored away from public access.

Photography

All photographs will only be taken with permission.
